If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Assistant at Power Tools Plus, Forbes. Responsibilities: Greet customers warmly and ascertain their needs Provide expert advice and assistance to customers on tool and steel products Assist customers in locating merchandise and making purchasing decisions Process transactions accurately using our point-of-sale (POS) system Maintain a clean and organised store environment Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking shelves Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally Requirements: Previous retail experience, preferably in a hardware or tool-related environment Strong knowledge of tools and steel products, including their uses and applications (preferred) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Basic math skills and proficiency in using a POS system MR drivers licence (preferred) Competitive hourly wage Regular overtime Generous employee discounts on merchandise Opportunities for advancement and professional development Friendly and supportive work environment If you are enthusiastic about tools, fasteners, steel products and safety equipment and enjoy helping customers find the right solutions for their needs, we encourage you to apply for the Retail Assistant position at our steel and tool shop.
