Position Overview Associate / Senior Engineer - Structural (Asset Advisory) role at ADG Engineers (Gold Coast office). About ADG Asset Advisory Services (AAS) ADG Asset Advisory Services leads the field in condition assessments and asset investigations, monitoring, data collection and analysis. Using market‑leading capability, our team of established consultants provide technology‑led services to solve the most complex problems across a range of sectors in infrastructure, construction and structural engineering. About The Role ADG is currently seeking an Associate/Senior Engineer to join our Asset Advisory Team. The role serves as a 2IC and future leadership position, reporting directly to the Director – Asset Advisory. Key responsibilities include: Ensuring that all investigations, reports and designs are of a high standard, compliant with ADG Asset Advisory procedures and standards, and meet client requirements. Undertaking varied engineering tasks and site investigations, specifying testing requirements, interpreting test results, analysing structures and determining innovative remedial solutions. Providing technically sound advice as part of the forensic process and liaising with asset owners. Contributing to tender writing, proposal development and project leadership. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering. Eligible for membership of Engineers Australia or equivalent. Ideally holds RPEQ/CPEng status or is close to attaining it. Skills & Knowledge 6‑10 years of structural design experience with exposure to forensic or remedial services. Developing competency in the forensic process, liaising with asset owners and providing technically sound advice. Chartered member (CPEng) of the Institute of Engineers Australia. Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ). Strong understanding of Australian design codes and standards. Demonstrated experience at a senior level of project design and commercial outcomes. Experience in writing tenders and proposals, leading projects and communicating with clients. An innovative, out‑of‑the‑box attitude to solutions and designs. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Desire to develop own team and client base, and to win work with support from the ASA team. Benefits A competitive salary package (A$140,000.00‑A$160,000.00). A flexible work environment.
