Overview HR Partners is proud to be partnering with a blue‑collar organisation for an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) for a permanent role ready to tackle complex challenges and drive positive change within a leading organisation. This pivotal role will report to the Head of Business Partnering and manage a large portfolio. It is ideal for a seasoned HR professional with a strong background in Employee and Industrial Relations who wants to make a real impact. The HRBP will provide hands‑on support to implement the HR strategic plan initiatives and act as a crucial consultant and support service to managers and supervisors on operational HR and industrial relations matters. Key Responsibilities Provide expert IR advice to line managers and assist in enterprise bargaining negotiations, maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of relevant legislation and workplace relations trends. Conduct workplace investigations, prepare responses to unfair dismissal applications and attend conciliation proceedings. Assist the business to source, develop and retain talent and support managers throughout performance review and succession planning processes. Co‑coach and develop managers and supervisors to strengthen people‑management capabilities and contribute to the development of broader managerial capability. Support change‑management and restructuring processes, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety, health and environmental legislation. Qualifications and Experience Tertiary qualifications, preferably in human resources management or a related field. Proven experience in HR Business Partnering within a large organisation. Strong ER and IR capability, with exposure to EAs/EBA negotiations. Practical experience in conducting workplace investigations, disciplinary matters and managing FWC cases up to conciliation. Well‑developed interpersonal and influencing skills, with a proven ability to coach and develop others. Excellent knowledge of employment legislation. Experience working in a unionised environment is an advantage.
