Role Overview: Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will support the business strategy and growth, employee wellbeing and succession plans. As the HR Business Partner you will pre‑empt challenges and provide proactive solutions. You will be instrumental in promoting and advocating a positive culture of transparency, continuous improvement, and the development of effective procedures and best practices. The HR Business Partner will form strong relationships with stakeholders across the business and you will foster a positive work culture that encourages growth and development, and candidate attraction and retention. This is a 12‑month contract position with a targeted start date in mid‑February 2026. Key Responsibilities: Stakeholder Partnerships: Build and sustain strong relationships with Senior Leadership, providing strategic guidance and expert advice to support business decisions. Demonstrate deep knowledge of HR best practice, industry standards, and employment legislation. Support leaders to strengthen their people management capability and drive high‑performance outcomes. Culture & Engagement: Champion continuous improvement in people practices, collaborate with recruitment teams to refine selection processes, and position the 2XM Group as an employer of choice. Foster a culture of transparency, inclusion, and engagement across the organisation. People Strategy & Development: Partner with leaders to identify strategic opportunities, address workforce capability gaps, and support business growth. Drive initiatives that enhance talent development, succession planning, and staff attraction as the Group expands nationally. Experience in recruitment processes will be highly regarded. Generalist HR Operations & reporting: Deliver day‑to‑day HR support while overseeing cyclical activities such as policy reviews and updates. Maintain accurate HR systems and employee records, ensuring compliance and timely issuance of contracts, working rights documentation, and other HR materials. Lead HR reporting requirements, including preparation of workforce metrics and compliance submissions such as Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) reporting. Employee Wellbeing: Provide expert HR guidance to employees across the Group. Lead initiatives to strengthen the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and wellbeing programs, with a focus on engagement, retention, and a positive workplace experience. Employee & Industrial Relations (ER/IR): Manage ER/IR matters with discretion, sensitivity, and impartiality. Build trusted relationships with managers, coaching them to enhance their people management skills and supporting fair, constructive employee relations. Continuous Improvement & Insights: Identify gaps and opportunities across HR practices, providing evidence‑based recommendations to influence decision‑making and implement improvements. Analyse workforce data and trends (e.g., turnover, retention, gender pay gap, DEI) to deliver actionable insights and support a culture of growth and innovation. What We’re Looking For: A proactive and engaging individual with strong communication skills and the ability to form positive relationships with stakeholders, while prioritising and meeting tight deadlines. Proven experience in engaging staff with improving HR processes. An approachable, and team‑oriented individual who can handle situations professionally and positively. Extensive experience in a similar HR role, preferably within the professional services or people services business. Experience in the recruitment industry is a bonus. Up‑to‑date knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice. An individual who is excited by challenge and able to navigate ambiguity, particularly in the context of integrating businesses with differing processes.
