We’re looking for a Data Engineer ready to step up into a leadership position or a Team Leader wanting a change. About the Role You’ll lead and mentor a small team of Data Engineers, Analysts, and BI Developers, while remaining 30–40% hands‑on across projects. The business is currently transitioning from on‑prem systems to a modern, cloud‑based architecture built on Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and Power BI. You’ll be key in designing and delivering data integrations, migrations, and automation solutions that unlock business value. Key Responsibilities Oversee the end‑to‑end data lifecycle – ingestion, integration, storage, transformation, and visualisation Lead the migration from on‑prem to cloud (MS Fabric / Databricks / Snowflake) Mentor and guide team members, promoting collaboration and technical excellence Deliver key data projects including OCR automation (Python), Power Platform apps, and AI enablement (Copilot) Partner with business stakeholders to improve data accessibility and reporting outcomes About You ✔ Strong background as a Data Engineer or Integration Specialist ✔ Experience across SQL, Power BI, and cloud‑based platforms ✔ Exposure to data warehousing, lakehouse design, or ETL/ELT pipelines ✔ Proven ability to solve problems, motivate others, and deliver outcomes ✔ Ready to take the next step into a leadership position For more information, please reach out to ***@cadenceconnect.com.au #J-18808-Ljbffr
