As a Retail Volunteer, you will play a central role in the operations of the shop, making a meaningful contribution to the St Vincent de Paul Society NSW. Volunteer Role Provide customers with an excellent shopping experience. Sort and price donations in the basic, fashion and designer categories. Assist with product display. Process sales through the POS cash register. Keep the store and sorting area tidy while maintaining safe work practices. Desired Qualities People person who is welcoming, encouraging and positive. Willing to work within the ethos of the St Vincent de Paul Society. Respectful and flexible in attitude towards work and the team. Good time‑management and initiative to get the job done. No prior experience is required – in‑store coaching and training are provided. Volunteers with previous retail or hospitality backgrounds are encouraged to share their experience with fellow volunteers.
