CANTEEN MANAGER/COOK 18 YEARS + (2026 Season, Paid – $Award Rates) Be the heartbeat of game day at SPAFC — run our canteen or bar like a pro and keep the Dees fuelled Australian work authorisation and Working with children Blue Card required. Responsibilities Lead the team: roster, brief and support canteen staff/volunteers for peak times Own stock & orders: weekly stocktake, place supplier orders, check deliveries Serve quality fast: Provide a good overall menu for our Dee's families/oversee prep/cooking, portion control, keep displays full & tidy Cash & POS: floats, daily reconciliation, basic sales reporting Event-ready: scale up for junior/senior home games, school days & club events When: Fri nights, Sat (junior & senior days), Sun (junior days) – April to September with some flexibility for events. Qualifications & Requirements Experience required: minimum 1-2 years hospitality management experience Systems experience: minimum 1+ years cash handling and POS system experience required Safety first (QLD): Must hold (or be willing to obtain within 4 weeks) Queensland food safety & hygiene certifications (e.g., Food Safety Supervisor + Food Handling). Commitment to Food Act and council requirements is essential. RSA certification: required only if this role is combined with the Bar Manager position Working with children Blue Card required (WWC check) About Us Surfers Paradise AFC was founded in 1962, beginning at Beach Road, moving to Via Roma in 1966, and settling at Sir Bruce Small Park in 1983.
