Permanent Full Time 38 Hours per week City of Sydney About the Role As a Mower Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing green spaces across our various commercial sites or council-controlled roadsides and open spaces. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in their work. Hourly rates are above award and dependent on experience. Operate various mowing equipment safely and efficiently. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment. Ensure lawns and green spaces are mowed to a high standard. Assist with other groundskeeping tasks as needed. Adhere to safety protocols and procedures. Benefits Competitive hourly rate. Monday to Friday work schedule with early start and early finish. Ongoing safety training programs and resources available. About You Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or a related field is preferred. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, squat, kneel, and stand for extended periods. Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and the sun. Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
