About the Role We’re expanding our team and looking for an experienced Construction Manager – Electrical to take the reins of our national electrical delivery portfolio across utility‑scale solar farm projects. This newly created position will oversee multiple project teams across the country, supporting Electrical Superintendents, ensuring program alignment, and maintaining the highest standards in safety, quality, and electrical performance. This is a nationally based role with regular travel to project sites required. Ideally suited to someone with Tier 2 contractor experience, a passion for renewables, and strong leadership capability across both technical and team domains. What You’ll Be Doing: Lead and support Electrical Superintendents across multiple utility‑scale projects nationally. Set the tone for electrical safety, compliance, and productivity across all active sites. Work closely with project managers, clients, engineers, and regulators to align outcomes and energisation goals. Mentor and coach site teams to ensure project excellence, performance, and accountability. Champion innovation and process improvement across the national electrical delivery function. Oversee resource allocation, cost management, and program adherence across concurrent projects. Represent Monford in key client, consultant, and authority meetings. Ensure risk, environmental, and quality frameworks are maintained and consistently delivered to a high standard. About You We're looking for someone with: 10+ years of experience leading large‑scale electrical construction projects, ideally in renewables or utility infrastructure. Trade Qualification or Degree in Electrical Engineering, with an Electrical Contractor Licence (or state‑based equivalent). Strong exposure to solar farm delivery (HV/LV works, inverters, SCADA integration, commissioning, and QA). A confident leader with the ability to juggle multiple projects and support diverse site teams. Strong commercial awareness – able to manage cost, program, and people simultaneously. Exceptional communication and relationship‑building skills – both onsite and in the boardroom. A track record of building collaborative teams and improving performance through coaching and mentoring.
