Add expected salary to your profile for insights The Quality & Compliance Lead is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing processes that ensure high-quality care and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role will guide the organisation toward best practices, driving continuous improvement and supporting strategic quality management initiatives. Working with the clinical team, the Quality & Compliance Lead will provide quality and clinical expertise to ensure safe, consistent and evidence‑based delivery of care and services to our clients. The role focuses on strengthening clinical capability and governance through the development and implementation of improvement projects, clinical and non‑clinical trend reports, and providing specialists' advice on identified risks and developing risk mitigation strategies. Through strategic guidelines and project leadership, this role will enhance JCS's clinical and quality capabilities, fostering a culture of accountability, learning, reflective practices and person‑centred care. Key Responsibilities Develop, support, and monitor service stream improvement initiatives. Record and track recommendations and required improvements from incidents, complaints, audits, and regulator feedback. Oversee the collation and analysis of clinical and non‑clinical data, evidence and reports to inform plan reviews and projects to improve organisational outcomes. Quality & Compliance Framework Collaborate with senior management to establish and implement Quality, Risk, and Compliance processes, policies, and objectives aligned with the Aged Care Act and Aged Care Quality Standards. Conduct desktop and site audits to evaluate compliance and implement corrective actions. Identify risks and opportunities for systemic improvements. Regulatory Awareness Stay abreast of legislative changes and sector reforms impacting aged care services. Provide support for initiatives and projects arising from reforms or critical incidents requiring review and response. Stakeholder Engagement Liaise with internal teams (SAH and CHSP) and external stakeholders to facilitate improvements. Build strong relationships to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Key Selection Criteria Registered Nurse with a current practising certificate (AHPRA) with a minimum of 3 years of experience. An understanding of the Aged Care Framework and its application. Show genuine empathy, compassion, and commitment to achieving positive outcomes for clients. Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team with highly developed communication skills and cultural awareness. The ability to provide sensitive practice in response to client diversity. Knowledge and experience working within Government‑funded programs and services, including working with the aged, people with a disability, within a community setting; Provide professional guidance and mentorship to the frontline team to complete complex case reviews and root cause analysis. Commitment to learning about the Jewish faith and cultural practices.
