Chief Commissioner - Scout Association of Australia (Western Australian Branch) Scouts WA (Scout Association of Australia) – Mount Hawthorn WA This is a pivotal leadership position for our Movement. The successful applicant will play a key role in shaping the future of Scouting in Western Australia, supporting our members, and ensuring that Scouting continues to thrive across the State. The Chief Commissioner is the senior volunteer leader of Scouts Western Australia and holds ultimate responsibility for leading, developing and representing Scouting throughout the State. The role provides inspirational leadership to volunteers, ensures the safety and development of young people, and delivers high-quality, contemporary Scouting programs aligned with the values, principles and purpose of the Scout Movement. The Chief Commissioner works in partnership with the Scouts WA Board and the Executive Manager to deliver the organisation's strategic plan and ensure good governance, accountability, and alignment with the national direction of Scouts Australia. The appointment will initially be for a term of three years, with the possibility of one extension at the discretion of the Board.
