The Company is seeking a Senior Legal Officer to join its dedicated team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing native title and governance outcomes for Traditional Owners, providing high-quality legal services in a multi-disciplinary environment. This includes the preparation and negotiation of various agreements, such as Indigenous Land Use Agreements and Cultural Heritage Management Agreements, and supporting the governance and compliance of Prescribed Bodies Corporate. The role demands a capable, collaborative, and pragmatic lawyer with a genuine interest in native title and Aboriginal land management, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and a high level of cultural awareness. Applicants for the Senior Legal Officer position at the company should have at least five years' of post-admission experience, with a background in corporate, commercial, environmental, or property law, and ideally exposure to native title or mining and resources matters. The role requires the ability to manage competing priorities, deliver accurate and timely advice, and a consultative, collaborative approach to communication.
