Utilising strong expertise in React and other javascript-based frameworks, this role will collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver outcomes that align to best practices and high-coding standards to drive technical innovation. Responsibilities Design and develop dynamic, responsive web interfaces using component-based architecture, translating designs into performant, cross-browser compatible UIs, and applying optimisation techniques like lazy loading and code splitting for fast, seamless user experiences. Implement front-end security measures (e.g., XSS, CSRF), ensure accessibility compliance with WCAG standards, and proactively address issues to deliver secure, inclusive, and high-quality web applications. Mentor junior developers, promote strong development practices, and collaborate with UX designers and product managers to define business requirements and deliver user-centric web solutions. Qualifications Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, and Svelte. Strong grasp of front-end, mobile, and back-end technologies and ability to integrate them into seamless digital experiences. Experience building responsive, mobile-first applications that scale. Testable, maintainable code with a focus on reusability and modern best practices. Experience with CI / CD pipelines and managing builds and deployments in fast-paced environments. Strong analytical skills to identify opportunities for optimisation and performance improvement. Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, including architecture, security, and product. Security best practices throughout the development lifecycle and ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Knowledge of API design and protocols such as RESTful, WebSocket, and GraphQL, and ability to integrate them into modern web applications.
