Who You Are As an IT Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration of one or more of the following data systems: computer systems hardware, software, information systems & peripheral equipment such as servers, desktops, printers and storage devices. This role will be located in Alice Springs, AUS, and is expected to be 100% onsite. This role is contingent upon contract award. What You’ll Do Maintain, install, upgrade and configure data systems Administer operating systems and maintain basic security and recovery procedures such as scheduling and backups Perform assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within their field Display core job competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills Manage multiple IT vendors to ensure completion of IT projects in a timely manner Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Must have a US TS/SCI with Polygraph or AUS PV clearance. Must have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and at least 2 years of directly related IT experience. A High School Diploma and an additional 5 years of directly related IT experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Security+ certification Requires knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP networking principles in a Microsoft Environment to include network topologies and transmission media KBR is an equal opportunity employer.
