Your dedication to security, optimization, and continuous improvement aligns with KBR’s mission to deliver dependable and forward-thinking IT solutions.***What You'll Do*** **In the role of** **Network Administrator,** **your duties will include:*** Maintain, install, upgrade and configure data systems.* Administer operating systems and maintain basic security and recovery procedures such as scheduling and backups.* Perform assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within their field.* Display core job competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills.* Manage multiple IT vendors to ensure completion of IT projects in a timely manner.* Perform other duties as assigned.**Requirements:*** Must be an Australian citizen* Must Possess an active AUS PV Clearance.* Minimum of an Associates degree in Computer Science or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree is preferred.* Minimum of five years of directly related technical, professional experience required.* Requires knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP networking principals in a Microsoft Environment to include network topologies and transmission media* Possess a current Security+ Certification* Provides technical support for Microsoft Windows 2012/Win7 and Linux operating systems.* Familiarity with networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN troubleshooting.* Experience with IT support tools, ticketing systems, and remote desktop applications.* Experience in an enterprise IT environment or supporting large-scale systems.* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.* Excellent analytical and organizational skills with the ability to plan and achieve a variety of tasks. Able to set priorities and deal with a number of issues and deadlines concurrently.* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.* Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and following security protocols.**Desired Qualifications:*** Certifications in disciplines such as Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+ or Microsoft certifications in Windows Server and Windows Client.This role will be located in Alice Springs. *This position is expected to be onsite 100%.*If you’re excited about making a significant impact in the field of space defense and working on projects that matter, we encourage you to apply and join our team at KBR.
