This role will be based in Palliative Care and Geriatrics Inpatient Units. About the Role Provide clinical teaching, orientation and mentorship to new graduates and less experienced staff. Support the Nurse Unit Manager and Educators in creating a positive learning culture. Assist with competency development, goal setting, and portfolio maintenance. Contribute to quality improvement, research, and evidence‑based practice initiatives. Design and deliver evidence‑based educational content and training sessions. Support clinical skill development and competency assessments. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance learning outcomes. Monitor and evaluate educational program effectiveness. Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate, and have at least 3 years (full‑time equivalent) post‑registration experience. About You Are you an experienced nurse who loves teaching, mentoring, and supporting others to grow? In this role you will have strong interpersonal and communication skills which will enable you to successfully problem solve, resolve conflicts and negotiate, including the ability to engage in difficult conversations, whilst building and maintaining relationships. An ability to effectively manage multiple, diverse and competing priorities and demonstrated resilience within a stressful and complex environment is essential to this role.
