In addition, we have a committed champion network of mentors and peer support groups Title: SAP BTP Governance & Strategy Lead Location: Client Site (Brisbane) - Alternative: (Syd or Mel) Seniority: Senior / Principal Consultant / Architect Level Role Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced SAP BTP Governance & Strategy Lead to support the implementation of a robust SAP BTP governance model and develop a strategic roadmap for a client in the early stages of BTP adoption. The candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the client’s BTP practice, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, business goals, and operational maturity. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and implementation of a comprehensive SAP BTP governance framework. Develop and socialize a strategic BTP roadmap tailored to the client’s maturity and business objectives. Define roles, responsibilities, and processes for BTP operations, including lifecycle management, security, integration, and compliance. Collaborate with enterprise architects, business stakeholders, and IT teams to ensure alignment and adoption. Conduct capability assessments and maturity evaluations to guide roadmap development. Provide thought leadership and best practices on SAP BTP services (e.g., Integration Suite, Extension Suite, Data & Analytics). Support change management and enablement activities to build internal capability and awareness. Act as a trusted advisor to client leadership on BTP strategy and governance. Required Skills & Experience 8+ years of experience in SAP architecture, with at least 3 years focused on SAP BTP. Proven experience designing and implementing governance models in SAP or hybrid cloud environments. Strong understanding of SAP BTP services, architecture, and integration patterns. Experience working with clients in early stages of digital transformation or platform adoption. Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Ability to translate technical concepts into business value and strategic outcomes. Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) and governance models. SAP certifications in BTP or related areas are a plus. Preferred Attributes Consulting background with experience in client-facing roles. Experience in complex enterprise environments.
