PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVE The Sovereign Services and Delivery (SS&D) organization resides in SAP’s Customer Success and Delivery (CS&D) board area, and as a key pillar of SS&D, SAP Cloud Application Services (CAS) offers our customers a seamless and consistent experience by simplifying end-to-end cloud application configuration and management. Reporting to the Head of Global Cloud Application Services, you will provide subject‑matter expertise across the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and suite of applications to ensure seamless delivery execution of SAP CAS for BTP Operations activities. EXPECTATIONS AND DUTIES Fulfill the role of SAP BTP and Integrations Senior Consultant within SAP Cloud Application Services team. Accountable for the delivery of cloud technical services for SAP Business Technology Platform, SAP Cloud Identity Services, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Build, and SAP Integration Suite. Responsible for creating and administering cloud delivery processes, standard operating procedures, and operational work instructions to simplify and streamline service delivery. Deliver maintenance and uplift of the SAP CAS portfolio for SAP cloud applications with sovereign capabilities by reviewing, testing, and providing feedback on service catalogues. Support the business as a trusted advisor and subject‑matter expert for SAP CAS for BTP Operations opportunities. Develop and maintain a strong network of contacts for relevant SAP cloud solutions and associated SAP Sovereign Services & Delivery professionals from strategy, portfolio, engineering, and delivery teams. Be an exemplar of good security practices and a positive security culture. Collaborate with internal and external delivery teams, including quality assurance. Continuously upskill, participating in and leading solutioning activities for new and existing SAP BTP related projects. Serve as a trusted integration point between CAS and SAP solution/product areas, providing hands‑on support for customer incidents and requests. EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES The ideal candidate has relevant technical and functional expertise in SAP BTP projects and/or operations delivery. As a self‑starter, they must be able to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment and be willing to participate in working groups, internal initiatives, and assist teammates to create a lasting, customer‑centric market presence for cloud application services. Success metrics include increased CAS adoption, performance against commercial deliverables, improved customer satisfaction, retention, and meeting revenue and margin expectations. Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of relevant SAP BTP experience. Strong knowledge of the SAP Cloud portfolio and experience in global delivery execution. Promotes a culture of trust, feedback, transparency, and ethical behavior. Strong analytical and conceptual skills. Organizational talent and team player who can extend trusted relationships with key stakeholders. Fluent in spoken and written English. Result‑driven, persistent, self‑motivated, and able to work under pressure. Excellent communication at C‑/Executive level. Willingness to take on-call duty, including weekend tasks. ITIL certification or demonstrated ITIL experience. TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS Hands‑on administration and configuration experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), including: Global / Subaccount administration, connectivity, trust configuration, cloud connector, role collection administration. Strong experience in at least one core platform capability: SAP Integration Suite (SAP Cloud Integration, SAP API Management, Event Mesh) SAP Cloud Identity Services (Authentication, Provisioning, Application Configuration) Data Management & Analytics (SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Analytics Cloud) SAP Build (Work Zone Standard & Advanced Edition, Process Automation) Understanding of systems and infrastructure engineering (e.g., network technologies) is desirable.
