Role: We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our Urgent Care Service. As a vital team member, you will provide high‑quality nursing support and ensure all patients that present to the Urgent Care Service are identified as being appropriate for the service, triaged promptly, and provided with front‑line care in collaboration with the Urgent Care Medical Practitioner. Healthcare Leadership: Work across our growing Urgent Care centres. Your Responsibilities First point of contact: triage every patient with accuracy, empathy, and confidence. Conduct thorough triage and prioritize care quickly to ensure best outcomes. Act decisively in critical moments, identifying and escalating emergencies or patient deterioration. Perform procedural care such as suturing and plastering. Adapt to a dynamic, ever‑changing setting, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. Collaborate closely with patients, families, carers, and medical to ensure supportive care. Educate patients, providing essential health information. Maintain meticulous documentation in all patient records. Champion workplace health and safety, reporting hazards and ensuring a secure environment. About You Current AHPRA registered Registered Nurse. Available evenings and weekends. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse. Experience options: 3 years in an Emergency Department, or triage, or ICU/CCU, rural or remote nursing. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with excellent attention to detail. Ability to assess and recognise health deterioration and appropriately escalates. An autonomous worker who can delegate when appropriate. A passion for patient‑centered care and a personable approach. Willingness to provide a Working with Children’s check and National Police check, if not already obtained.
