Project/Ship Manager - U.S Deployment at ASC Pty Ltd We are seeking experienced trades individuals to undertake long‑term, world‑leading training in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, U.S. Placements commence March 2026 and will last 18‑24 months. Responsibilities Manage and oversee all aspects of the project, including planning, engineering, production and testing. Work with other PS and technical supports to integrate the project requirements and ensure manpower, material and other resources are available when needed. Determine the scope of the work package, evaluate the ability of the shipyard to support the work package and recommend any modification if necessary. Monitor the project’s budget and overtime expenditures and key aspects of the project’s work progress. Conduct and attend meetings to discuss project progress and other project issues; identify problems and work with supervisors and technical supports to develop solutions or action items. Direction and management of a wide variety and volume of trades work, requiring the support of a wide variety of administrative, technical and professional personnel. Eligibility Criteria NV1 defence clearance (applicable to U.S. Navy personnel). Prior experience within the defence sector, in any role or capacity. Experience leading multi‑discipline teams in high‑stakes environments. Experience working with senior leadership and external agencies. During deployment you will receive on‑job training combined with instructor‑led classroom training. Upon completion of your deployment you will return to Western Australia (WA) to carry out planning, management and in‑water maintenance activities on United States Navy Virginia Class Submarines.
