Position Title: Teacher – Students At Educational Risk; Branch: Champion Bay Senior High School; Location: Geraldton; Work Type: Fixed Term – Full Time; Salary: $85,610 – $124,016 per annum (pro‑ra); Closing Date: 2025‑12‑01 4:30 PM. This is a twelve (12) fixed term full‑time position commencing Term 1, 2026 with possible extension and/or permanency. Responsibilities Deputise and support Student Services Managers as required Complex Behaviour Support Coordinator – Work with school leaders to develop connected and tiered systems and approaches including using data to identify and plan for universal, targeted and intensive supports in the areas of learning, wellbeing and behaviour Develop clear systems and processes that consider the needs of all students Reduce teacher workload pressures Conduct home visits as required to assist with student planning and attendance (Badged attendance officer) Oversee the Student Leadership program (7‑12) in consultation Respond to requests for behaviour support as required Oversee whole‑school positive wellbeing events such as RUOK Day, good standing events etc. in consultation Excursion, incursion and event paperwork Maintain ground‑standing data and information for the whole school Participate in and advise on the effectiveness of Tier 1, 2 and 3 interventions strategies and programmes Case‑manage students requiring Tier 2 or Tier 3 interventions Provide Gatekeeper assessment as required Support the re‑entry process of students following suspension Assembly support in consultation Other duties as determined in consultation with the relevant Associate Principal or Senior School Management Professional Benefits Working for the Department of Education comes with a wide range of benefits designed to support both your professional and personal well‑being. Staff must remain employed in the location until the end of the school year to be eligible to receive the second payment. The temporary ARI payment is in addition to other incentives that may apply at this school.
