We're looking for a Part Time Personal Care Assistant to join our Residential Aged Care in Hervey Bay and make a real difference in the lives of our residents. About the Role As a Personal Care Assistant, you'll provide essential support and personal care to our residents, helping them maintain independence and enjoy a fulfilling quality of life. Working under the guidance of our experienced clinical team, you’ll assist with daily living activities, report on resident wellbeing, and help foster a warm and respectful community environment. What You’ll Do Provide personal care and daily living support to residents with respect and compassion. Assist with meal delivery, refreshments, and menu checks. Accurately document resident observations and report concerns to the nursing team. Complete general ward duties and respond to delegated tasks. Actively contribute to a safe, clean, and positive environment. Uphold privacy, dignity, and the wellbeing of all residents. What We’re Looking For Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent). Current National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain). NDIS Worker Screening Check. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Previous experience in aged care or a residential care setting. Understanding of issues affecting older people and those living with disabilities.
