Overview Maintenance Manager (Asset & Civil Infrastructure) is a key senior leadership role at a Coastal NSW Council, south of Sydney. This position is responsible for the operational delivery of critical maintenance services across civil infrastructure, municipal pool facilities, fleet & plant and fabrication. The successful candidate will lead a large team of skilled and semi-skilled employees, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and sustainable outcomes that directly enhance the quality of life for the whole community. Responsibilities Lead operations for civil infrastructure maintenance, municipal facilities, fleet & plant, and fabrication. Manage and develop a large team of skilled and semi-skilled employees. Ensure delivery of high-quality, efficient, and sustainable maintenance outcomes that benefit the community. Qualifications A recognized degree in Engineering (Civil or related discipline). Experience directly managing large, varied teams in a public sector body. Senior experience in infrastructure maintenance. Demonstrated experience leading teams in operational environments (civil works, utilities, infrastructure, etc.). Proven experience in civil asset maintenance and workshop operations. Excellent project management ability with a strong understanding of WHS and environmental management. Strong budgetary and financial acumen, including contract management. Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence others; ability to prioritise and be solutions-focused. Benefits/Salary A competitive salary package is on offer to the right candidate.
