We are committed to our shared values: We all belong We make a difference We are all in this together Excellence is a journey The role We are seeking a part‑time Bus Driver to join our team at Burnie OSHC: you will work 5 mornings and afternoons per week, usually from 7:15 am to 9:15 am, and from 2 to 4:30 pm. You may also pick up additional hours working OSHC or Vacation Care shifts. This position will commence in February 2026, in line with the start of the school term. Burnie Outside School Hours Care operates from a number of school sites in the Burnie area; at Burnie, Romaine and Stella Marist primary schools, providing an inviting and welcoming environment offering programs that are responsive to the interests and needs of school‑age children. Our OSHC services provide Before School, After School and Vacation Care. Part‑time staff must be able to commit to working in a vacation care setting to cover their contracted hours during school holidays. Qualifications and Requirements Valid Tasmanian Driver's Licence (a public passenger licence or willingness to obtain is also preferable) Current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable Persons Registration Regular availability and flexibility to work a range of shifts during our opening hours Discovery is a Child Safe Organisation and is committed to an organisation‑wide culture of child safety as well as a zero‑tolerance approach to child abuse.
