We are currently seeking compassionate, skilled, and motivated Disability Support Mentors to join our growing team on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. This role is more than traditional support work – it’s mentoring, empowering, and walking alongside participants as they work toward meaningful life goals. About the Role As a Disability Support Mentor, you will provide direct support to people with disability in alignment with their NDIS goals. A significant portion of our clients present with high-complex support needs and challenging behaviours , so we are seeking individuals experienced and confident in these areas. You will support participants with: Daily living skills and personal care Community access, recreation, appointments and employment engagement Encouraging independence, wellbeing, and confidence through mentoring Promoting inclusion and active participation within the community Implementing behaviour support strategies and restrictive practice safeguards (where relevant and in line with NDIS Practice Standards) Accurate, detailed reporting including progress notes, incident reports, and documentation This is a client-facing role requiring strong relational skills, emotional maturity, and the ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused in high-pressure situations. About You We are looking for someone who not only cares deeply about people but also has proven experience working with high-complex needs or behaviours of concern .
