The Company This well established, energy business, operating across Australia, is seeking a commercial focused corporate analyst. The business has gone through several changes in recent years, including new system improvements and new business initiatives and requires a diligent, commercial corporate analyst to support the future strategic direction of the team. The role This role will be the link between finance, operations and investments. The position will require someone who is happy to work under their own steam, able to liaise between operations and finance, and be able to be the link between finance and strategy. The role offers a good range of commercial decision making, and high profile where you can really make a difference. You will provide general support to the operational managers in terms of diligence around new investment opportunities, working on a variety of different projects, and various financial modelling to evaluate new investment opportunities to the operational team. Future potential acquisitions, management and performance monitoring will also be part of your responsibilities. The Candidate You will have strong cash flow modelling, possibly a CA / CPA background or investment background, ideally with renewable energy background. A background in corporate finance, business partnering, could also be highly desirable in this forward looking position.
