Public Sector People are working with a government organisation in Brisbane, who are seeking an experienced A05 Human Resource Officer on a 3‑month contract with potential extension. Key Responsibilities In collaboration with the Senior Advisor, Human Resources, provide high‑level advice and support to managers to undertake informal and formal performance management processes including case management. Understand and interpret employee relations legislation, policies/guidelines and manage processes/procedures related to staff discipline, employee complaints and performance matters as required. Develop and execute effective recruitment and selection strategies that will identify the region as an employer of choice, and support best‑practice principles. This role is moving fast; the client is keen to conduct interviews early next week. About You Government/public sector experience and proficiency in systems such as Aurion. Available to start immediately, working 2–3 days per week. Demonstrated experience delivering end‑to‑end HR services in a dynamic environment. High‑level interpersonal skills with the ability to engage, consult and influence stakeholders. Excellent written and verbal communication, with a flair for clear and concise advice. #J-18808-Ljbffr
