Financial Accounting Manager

The Opportunity As our new Financial Accounting Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Head of Financial Control. You’ll lead the charge on accurate and timely financial reporting, ensure compliance with Australian and International Accounting Standards, and help manage our tax obligations. You’ll also guide a talented team and contribute to the ongoing development of our finance systems and processes. Key Responsibilities Lead month-end and year-end reporting processes. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Oversee preparation of financial statements and manage internal/external audits. Support direct and indirect tax compliance, including FBT and ATO liaison. Manage and mentor a team of corporate accountants. Drive improvements in finance systems and reporting processes. What you need Tertiary qualification in Accounting or similar. CA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent professional qualification. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Experience leading teams in a fast-paced environment. Full Australian working rights.
