Permanent full‑time position - Commencing January 2026 We seek to appoint an innovative English Teacher with excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and effective English lessons, provide guidance and support to students, and contribute to their overall academic and pastoral care. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate experience in the areas of: Ability to teach English Stages 4-6 Planning and implementing effective teaching and learning strategies Providing a positive and engaging teaching and learning experience for students Assessing, providing feedback, and reporting on student learning Developing teaching programmes and assessments across all stages (preferred but not essential) Working collaboratively in an English Faculty Implementing new syllabi Creating and maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment Using effective pedagogies, a range of differentiated approaches and a variety of stimulating and interactive resources to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes Effectively managing student behaviour and maintaining an educational environment that promotes learning The successful applicant will: Demonstrate a clear understanding and commitment to the Mission of the Catholic School Adhere to the College’s Safeguarding Standards and Child Protection policies and procedures Teach with excellence, professionalism and commitment Be supportive of the Lasallian ethos of the College Be committed to professional growth and development of excellence Be an experienced, innovative, and engaging team member Have an ability to relate to girls and boys with a practical knowledge of boys’ education issues and initiatives in the foundation years (Stages 4 - 6) Please refer to the position description for further information.
