Our primary location is in Beresfield, NSW, but the role may occasionally require travel to Sydney, interstate, and overseas to support our clients’ systems and equipment. About the role JFD Cowan, a leader in manufacturing and part of the JFD Group, is seeking a motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to lead and coordinate our manufacturing and production teams. This hands‑on leadership role is critical to ensuring our operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently to meet client requirements and deadlines. What You’ll Be Doing: Lead daily pre‑start meetings to communicate safety updates, assess workforce readiness, and allocate tasks. Supervise and mentor Leading Hands, Tradespeople, and Apprentices to build skills and ensure quality output. Review work orders and plan production workflows to meet specifications and deadlines. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production processes and practices. What We’re Looking For: Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing and fabrication environment. Strong knowledge of welding and fabrication practices. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation. Demonstrated safety leadership and mentoring capabilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem‑solving and time‑management abilities. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer systems. Why work for JFD Cowan?
