Lead a New Team at Our Independent Pharmacy We are an independent pharmacy located near the Bayside Shopping Centre, Frankston and we’re looking for a new leader with some pharmacy experience to help us grow and provide excellent health and customer service. We are looking for either a pharmacy assistant with some experience ready to take the next step in their career into a new role on a full‑time basis. The focus is on finding the right personality fit rather than previous experience, for a new pharmacy that will have a lot of changes and improvements over the next few months. It is going to be an exciting new phase for a pharmacy needing a reinvention, so if you have enthusiasm and energy, this would be a great fit. Pharmacy Assistant As a pharmacy assistant you will be required to perform the following duties: Assist with the management of the store adherence to the pharmacy’s business systems and operating standards. Use your initiative with the manager to keep the store standards of operation at a high level at all times to deliver a great customer experience. Support catalogue and supplier promotions by planning, organising and implementing promotional activities to maximise sales. Manage the stock carefully using the systems and targets/reports provided. Coordinate marketing strategies within the brand to grow our store and offering to the community. Maintain a high level of performance, motivation and team‑first approach. Work closely with the team, the manager and train junior staff. Skills and Experience Required 1‑3 years fast‑paced retail/customer service experience. 12+ months retail experience in a community pharmacy. Stock management experience. Health and beauty product knowledge. This is an ideal role for those willing to improve their pharmacy experience and play a key role in building a small community pharmacy while growing with the business and your skill set in pharmacy and leadership. Candidates for the Role Should Possess the Following A strong focus on sales and service with previous experience working in retail. Exceptional customer service skills and an enjoyment of interacting with customers. A passion for health, beauty and wellbeing products. High energy levels and an enthusiastic approach to tasks and customers. Willingness to invest everyday in improving product knowledge and to learn and grow within the health and wellbeing sector.
