Technical Solutions Architect

Understanding new business initiatives and collaborating with stakeholders to formulate a solution description that matches the business needsWorkingwith the businessand delivery teams during the ideation and inception phases of the Agile process to understand initial requirementsProviding insight and direction on technical solution optionsFormulating and documenting solutions, alternative options (buy vs build) and phased approachesIdentifying and articulating technical risks, dependencies and issuesCapturing and incorporating technical considerations from development teams into the solutionWork closely with key stakeholders, including Project Managers, to ensure that technical requirements and WBS are well communicatedtoand understood by relevant project contributors and stakeholdersIdentify reusable components and services that address recurring challengesUnderstanding the impacts of solutions on other parts of the Class ecosystemPresenting solutions to stakeholders and technical leads to enable delivery and executionCollaborate with the Platforms team to identify core infrastructure componentsCreate PoCs on new technologiesRecommending innovative approaches and influencing the overall technical capabilities of ClassRequirements:
Experience in a Technical Lead or Solutions Architect role with ownership of the solution and technical success of the projectExperience in AWS services and Cloud technologiesExperience in .NET microservices, integration and microservice/service-oriented architecturesExperience in Agile or ‘Agile at scale’ environments, working across scrum teamsStrong communication skills (written and verbal) with internal and external stakeholdersStrong organisation skills with a self-motivated, solution-oriented approachBeing comfortable working in a new space, solving new problems with new technologyAbility to present solutions to technical teams and run technical workshops.
