Save the Children Op-Shops offer a unique shopping experience and the chance to support the numerous projects that help create better lives for children in Australia, the Pacific and beyond. If you are able to assist us, please apply today. Surrounded by recycled fashion pieces, toys, books and vintage gems, you will work with brilliant teams of dedicated staff and enthusiastic volunteers to meet financial targets and improve customer engagement. By volunteering in our Blackwood Op Shop, you'll be supporting Save the Children, Australia's leading child rights organisation. We work with families and communities to ensure that every child can reach their potential. Why volunteer with us? It's fun — There are tons of things you can do in our store. Whether it's dressing a shop window, helping and chatting with our customers, or sorting through our fabulous array of stock. We'll provide all the training you'll need, including how to use the register. It's flexible — Ideally, you'll be available to volunteer 1-3 days per week, either full day or half-day shifts. All activities are Centrelink approved. You'll be making a difference — Our programs improve the health of children, create greater access to quality education for all, and provide protection from abuse, neglect and exploitation. You will be making a real difference to the lives of millions of children - now and in the future. Who are we looking for? Punctual, reliable and honest. Willingness to learn. Whether you are seeking retail work experience, recently retired, looking to meet new people, or anything in between, we'd love you to join our brilliant volunteer team in our Blackwood Op Shop.
