This position plays a vital role in shaping a school culture where every student is known, supported and empowered to thrive. The role of Leader of Diverse Needs has a strong focus on coaching and professional development, leading inclusive transitions and ensuring a safe and faith‑filled school environment where all members of the community belong and grow. Key responsibilities include : Lead model and support inclusive teaching and learning strategies across the College. Manage NCCD processes including collection of documentation and allocation of support. Coordinate and mentor LSOs and teaching staff building their capacity to support diverse learners. Foster strong partnerships with families, external professionals and system‑level personnel. Provide spiritual and strategic leadership in alignment with Catholic values. Monitor compliance with Disability Standards for Education, Privacy Act and Child Safety policies. Support conflict resolution and staff accountability processes with professionalism and care. Engage in and promote ongoing professional learning including study in inclusive education. Demonstrated leadership experience in inclusive education or similar field. Knowledge of NCCD Disability Standards for Education and inclusive teaching practices. Postgraduate studies in inclusive education (or willingness to undertake). Commitment to the mission and ethos of Catholic education. Willingness to travel for professional development or system‑level engagement including overnight stays.
