Senior Healthcare Support Worker – NHS Scotland NHS Scotland invites applications for a Senior Healthcare Support Worker to join the Out of Hours team within the Perth & Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership. Position Overview The role involves providing person‑centred care within domiciliary and community settings, supporting patients’ physical and emotional needs, and working closely with the Out of Hours Nursing team, local Social Work services, and voluntary sector organisations. Responsibilities Deliver care to patients in home and community contexts under NHS guidelines. Collaborate with the Out of Hours Nursing team, Social Work services and voluntary sector partners to plan and deliver integrated care. Attend mandatory induction training and adhere to the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland. Maintain accurate and timely care documentation as per NHS standards. Qualifications & Experience SCQF Level 6/7 or equivalent experience in health or social care. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Commitment to ongoing professional development and compliance with NHS policies. Working Hours 28.5–2200 hrs – 0800 AM (Out of Hours shift pattern).
