Senior / Project Manager – Client Side - ASAP

Director - Australia at Amida Recruitment Ltd Our client is a leading project management consultancy with an established pipeline of Hospitality, Industrial, High Rise Residential and Commercial projects across new build as well as fit out / refurbishment from smaller up to $100m+. They are now looking for an experienced Senior / Project Manager to join their successful team based in their Brisbane office. The role will initially be working from home for a high functioning boutique client side PM consultancy with a presence in both NSW and QLD. Will be working alongside one of the Directors and they are rapidly expanding. The candidate can come from a head contractor or a client side/consultancy background however ideally will have some client side/consultancy experience. Excellent progression opportunities available as well as being mentored by one of the Directors. Reporting to QLD Director Responsibilities Managing regulatory approvals Design co-ordination Stakeholder management and liaison Working in a “live” environment (some of the buildings may remain open during construction) Health and safety Program management Contract administration Construction management of project delivery Management of site variations and design changes Cost management Qualifications and Requirements Degree qualification in civil engineering, construction management or similar A minimum of 5-15+ years’ experience in a client side PM role, head contractor experience would also be ideal Proven end to end project management skills from concept through to completion Exposure to program management, managing timelines and critical paths Experience of end to end project management on a variety of building projects, commercial fit out would be an advantage Experience of running multiple smaller projects This is a permanent full time position providing a great opportunity to work with a successful and growing organisation who offer challenging work and the potential for career progression.
