Processing and Logistics Coordinator

Bejo Australia, a leading vegetable seed producer and part of an international family-owned company headquartered in the Netherlands, is seeking a Processing and Logistics Coordinator to join our Cressy operations. At our Tasmanian farms, we grow high-quality hybrid carrot, beet, and brassica seeds in collaboration with growers and the local community. This is a unique, brand-new role offering on-the-job training and the chance to make a real impact on seed production, processing, and export operations. What You’ll Do Coordinate seed cleaning, production, and logistics to meet forecasted yield, quality, and financial targets. Lead and support regional teams, providing training, guidance, and direction. Plan and manage inbound and outbound seed movements, inventory, and operational administration. Support project activities, contractor coordination, and maintenance of plant and equipment. Promote and maintain a safe work environment, adhering to Bejo’s policies and procedures. Work with the Authorised Officer and train to become one (fully funded by Bejo). What We’re Looking For Previous experience in farming, cropping systems, warehouse operations, transport, or logistics coordination. Strong understanding of inventory control, freight movements, scheduling, and documentation, or the willingness to learn. Knowledge of seed cleaning practices is beneficial, but full training will be provided. Proven ability to lead and support teams, with strong communication and people skills. Excellent planning, organisational, and time-management abilities, especially during peak seasonal periods. A strong commitment to safety—championing safe work practices, equipment use, and hazard reporting. Valid driver’s license (MR truck and forklift licenses desirable).
