We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our team in the Mary Coram Unit, a combined 48‑bed unit that manages and cares for Rehabilitation, Geriatric Evaluation and Management, and Palliative Care patients. The Enrolled Nurse is responsible for providing safe and high‑quality patient‑centred care within the scope of practice. We work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, which is based in the unit and includes therapy provided in the indoor/outdoor gymnasium, treatment rooms, and shared patient areas. Our focus is to work with the patient and family to implement patient‑centred and goal‑oriented therapy that improves function, maximises independence and optimises quality of life. Patient Conditions Stroke and neurological diagnoses; Orthopaedic fracture or replacement; Deconditioning post‑acute illness, surgery or trauma; Complex and multiple medical conditions related to ageing, including falls, reduced mobility, acute/early‑onset cognitive impairment, and chronic pain. We also provide inpatient Palliative Care, caring for patients with a life‑limiting or terminal illness. Our aim is to support the patient to live as comfortably as possible by managing symptoms, providing emotional, psychological and cultural care, supporting the family, referring to services to support discharge, and providing end‑of‑life care.
