Finance Manager – Global Business and Great Flexibility Broad role in an industry leading brand within a massive global FMCG business with fantastic flexibility. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the full accounting operations of the Australian business while partnering closely with the Head of Finance. What you’ll be doing Lead all accounting operations including AP, AR, bank processing, reconciliations, inventory entries, and cash management. Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close including journals, reconciliations, variance analysis, and group submissions. Prepare statutory financial statements and coordinate internal and external audits. Manage tax compliance including GST, BAS, income tax, FBT, withholding tax, and transfer pricing requirements. Oversee Global Control Standard (GCS) compliance and ensure high-quality internal controls. Partner with the Head of Finance on process improvements and automation initiatives. Mentor and develop a team of 5 across AP / AR / Inventory, building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. What we're looking for CA / CPA or equivalent qualified (or equivalent experience). Proven experience across inventory accounting, financial reporting, audit and tax. Strong understanding of Australian Accounting Standards (and US GAAP experience advantageous). Experience working in a multinational or matrix-style environment. Excellent communication skills and ability to partner across the business. Comfortable leading a team and lifting capability across AP / AR / Inventory. Strong Excel and systems experience.
