We provide accessible mental health services inclusive of family, friends and support networks. We are a specialist, multi-disciplinary and intensive care mental health service incorporating the lived and living experience of family peer specialists and youth peer workers. Our service is divided into two streams 0-11 and 12-26 years, and includes specialist services in the areas of perinatal care, neurodevelopmental presentations, eating disorders and outreach support. The Role Manage referrals to the service with a timely, compassionate and supportive response, working collaboratively with the child, young person, their families/carers, and existing support network Undertake intake assessments (including triage and crisis responses) and make decisions about allocation of referrals to ensure best outcomes, supporting an integrated and streamlined pathway. Single-session primary consultations and brief interventions, underpinned by Dialogical Practices. Secondary consultations to key external services, building capacity, developing partnerships and collaborative working. Essential About you Approved tertiary qualifications in relevant discipline and eligibility for membership of AHPRA (or the appropriate professional body) Minimum 7 years’ clinical experience (5 years’ clinical experience for Psychology and Nursing) Desirable Developmental Psychiatry Course or equivalent Training and experience in providing child and youth mental health services Other Helpful Skills & Knowledge Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development especially further studies relevant to child, adolescent and young adult mental health.
