The Role The Menopause Hub Clinical Psychologist will provide clinical expertise in psychological services for patients accessing the outpatient Services of the Menopause Hub. The Clinical Psychologist will provide evidence‑based psychological assessment and intervention care for women affected by complex and severe mental illness related to hormones, including menopause. Selection Criteria Full Registration with Psychology Board of Australia (PsyBA), along with Endorsement in Clinical Psychology (or eligibility to progress towards same) along with a minimum two‑year full‑time equivalent accredited postgraduate Masters/Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology. Demonstrated experience in the provision of evidence‑based, trauma‑informed psychological assessment, intervention and evaluation of clinical outcomes for women affected by complex and severe mental illness related to hormones including menopause, inclusive of therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Demonstrated capacity to design and implement individual and group treatment protocols (including for online delivery) for women affected by complex and severe mental illness related to hormones, including menopause. Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills including negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills with the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders throughout all organisational levels. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within the multidisciplinary team, prioritise workload and to apply advanced reasoning skills and independent professional judgement when dealing with situations of a novel, complex or critical nature. Ability to provide in‑depth advice and education to enhance service delivery and to guide and support others in providing service excellence, with the capacity to provide clinical supervision to other staff.
