Gruyere Gold Mine is located in the Yamarna Greenstone Belt in Western Australia. Committed in 2019, it is one of Australia's largest and lowest‑cost gold mining operations, boasting a plant production of 300,000+ ounces per annum with an enviable production profile in excess of 10 years. Reporting to the Senior Geology Assistant, your main responsibility will be to provide quality geology technical services and work collaboratively with the broader mining team to maximise return from the operation. This role is offered on an 8 days on 6 days off roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth or Drive in Drive out from the Goldfields region. Benefits Quarterly Bonus Scheme & Retention Bonus Scheme Virgin Velocity reward points Salary sacrifice options Employee Assistance Program About the role Interact daily with the Geology team to arrange and coordinate daily work activities; Assist with production activities such as ore mark‑ups, ore spotting and collecting in‑pit samples; Participate in RC drilling activities including sampling and rock chip collection; Process diamond drill core, cut and sample activities; Collaborate with project geologists and drillers to address drilling or core‑related issues; Ensure sample handling and data recording processes meet QAQC standards; Complete all tasks associated with the daily and weekly sample dispatch services to the assay laboratory; Ensure work areas are kept clean, tidy and free of hazards. About you Previous experience in a similar role is preferable; Experience working outdoors in varying weather conditions; Forklift certificate is desirable; First Aid certificate is desirable; Basic level of Microsoft Office applications; Gold Fields is committed to achieving an inclusive workforce.
