Role Overview With views over the Broadwater and the Broadwater Parklands, our Gold Coast Visa Medical Assessment Centre in Southport has been designed with comfort and sustainability at the forefront. It is an easy walk to the light rail stop, Australia Fair Shopping Centre, and surrounded by parklands, cafes and restaurants. As the Medical Assessment Centre Manager you’ll lead a team of clinical and non‑clinical staff, ensuring financial, operational, clinical quality and safety of the Centre and meeting our customer experience and contract KPIs. Responsibilities Ensuring the centre is financially viable through making sure expenditures are appropriate, suppliers are paid correctly, and staffing levels are optimised. Championing the customer experience by engaging, coaching, and listening to team members and customer feedback to maintain an excellent level of service. Managing customer escalations and upset customers. Managing contracted third‑party service providers to perform services to required standards. Forecasting and planning to anticipate and meet current and future business needs. Monitoring and managing the centre and employees’ compliance with legal and regulatory standards, internal operating procedures, Bupa’s risk and compliance policies, compliance training, frameworks and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Be a truly exceptional leader with a tangible focus on growing our people. Have strong customer experience focus. Have previous experience managing the P&L of a health service, medical centre, or practice. Show a proven ability to set objectives and measures to drive business outcomes and meet targets.
