Kushiro Fusion Cuisine is seeking a cook to join our dynamic kitchen team as we grow into our next exciting chapter. What You’ll Do Prepare, cook, and plate menu items to a high standard Follow recipes, portion control, and presentation guidelines Assist with daily prep, service, and kitchen setup Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards at all times Work efficiently during busy service periods Support senior kitchen staff and work collaboratively with the team Assist with stock rotation, storage, and basic inventory tasks Complete daily and weekly cleaning duties in the kitchen What We’re Looking For Previous experience as a Cook in a restaurant or café environment (Japanese cuisine is a big bonus) Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast‑paced kitchen Strong attention to detail and consistency Positive attitude, reliability, and team‑player mindset Availability for evenings, weekends, and public holidays Basic understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene Food Safety Certificate (preferred) What We Offer Competitive pay under the Restaurant Industry Award – Cook Level 2–3 (based on skills and experience) Staff meals and in‑house dining discounts Supportive, respectful kitchen culture Opportunity to grow your skills and progress within the team Work with creative, modern dishes and quality ingredients If you’re passionate about food and want to be part of a professional, growing kitchen team , we’d love to hear from you.
