Team Leader Environmental Scientist - Contaminated Land - Brisbane, QLD Join us as a Team Leader Environmental Scientist at Tetra Tech. This role involves leading high‑profile contaminated land projects across Defence, Petroleum, Local Government, Mining and Resources. What You’ll Do Support, mentor and develop a specialist team delivering contaminated land site assessment and remediation projects. Manage day‑to‑day team operations, including resource planning and collaborative workload management. Deliver projects to a high technical standard, ensuring safety, quality and integrity. Provide guidance and assurance across investigation, remediation and reporting activities. Build strong relationships with clients and work closely with senior technical leaders on growth and improvement opportunities. Engage with regulators and internal stakeholders across Australia. Foster a culture of safety, wellbeing and continuous improvement. What You’ll Bring A degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology or a related discipline. Approximately 8+ years’ experience in contaminated land consulting (site assessment, remediation, regulatory engagement). Proven or emerging leadership skills with a collaborative and people‑centred approach. Strong understanding of national and state environmental regulations. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Australian citizenship or permanent residency (required for Defence projects).
