Senior Transport Engineer

Location: Strathpine Join City of Moreton Bay as a Senior Transport Engineer , and help shape and enhance our communities for today and tomorrow. As our Senior Transport Engineer you will provide specialist road safety engineering advice and technical input into the planning, analysis, coordination and development of integrated transport concept plans that respond to user needs and are consistent with council’s strategic principles and policies. You will have the opportunity to; develop and recommend innovative planning and design solutions that integrate transport, road safety and urban design outcomes provide high level technical input in road safety engineering and technical knowledge and advice, assisting in establishing and communicating contemporary best practice transport planning and design guidelines liaise within council, with Queensland State Government agencies and external stakeholders on infrastructure planning and road safety engineering matters as directed. We are seeking someone with experience in the planning and design integrated transport solutions and in applying relevant local government legislation and planning principles and practices. You will be an experienced professional with strong analytical, technical, and communication capabilities, able to deliver integrated transport and infrastructure solutions in dynamic environments. You will have a commitment to strategic outcomes, customer service, and effective stakeholder engagement. You will have a degree in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering or equivalent and a current “C” Class Driver’s Licence. Why City of Moreton Bay? What you do with your life matters.
