We are currently looking to hire skilled and experienced Road Sweeper and Watercart Operators to join our team and contribute to the ongoing success of our operations in Sydney and The Central Coast. Job Overview: We are seeking Road Sweeper and Watercart Operators to safely operate and maintain our road sweeping and watercart equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining clean road surfaces, ensuring proper water distribution for dust control, and performing general road maintenance duties as required. Key Responsibilities: Operate road sweeper equipment to clean roads, pavements, and public areas. Operate watercart for dust suppression, ensuring proper water levels and efficient spraying. Maintain and clean machinery to ensure optimal performance. Monitor and report on equipment performance, reporting any faults or issues to supervisors. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety standards while operating machinery. Conduct pre-operation checks on vehicles and equipment to ensure safety and functionality. Work in accordance with environmental and operational guidelines to minimize disruption to traffic flow and the surrounding community. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and vehicles, reporting major issues when necessary. Qualifications and Skills: Proven experience operating road sweepers and watercarts in a similar role is highly desirable. Ability to perform manual labor and work in all weather conditions. Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Knowledge of safety regulations and adherence to them. Ability to maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail. Basic mechanical skills and experience with vehicle maintenance is desirable.
