Mobile Employment Consultant

MRAEL have an exciting opportunity for a Mobile Employment Consultant to join the Intojobs team to deliver the Workforce Australia Employment Services. This position is based in our Gladstone office with outreach responsibilities extending to the surrounding areas. About the Role As a Mobile Employment Consultant, you will provide one-on-one support to manage a caseload of participants within the Workforce Australia programme to achieve sustainable and fulfilling training and employment outcomes. A solid understanding of people‑centred case management principles including barrier management is core to continued success. Immediate start required Key Responsibilities Work one‑on‑one with job seekers to assess strengths, barriers, and employment goals. Motivate, engage and inspire job seekers to build their skills, experience and confidence and to work with them to remove their perceived barriers. Create and manage tailored job plans that support long‑term employment outcomes. Build strong relationships with local employers to create job opportunities. Provide ongoing coaching, motivation, and job readiness support. Track and report on job seeker progress in line with program guidelines. Provide post‑placement support to both the jobseeker and employers. Key selection Criteria To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following skills and experience: Have a current unrestricted driver’s licence. Demonstrated ability to communicate and build rapport with jobseekers and employers. Strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work with a diverse range of people from different socio‑economic backgrounds. Be passionate about helping people and making a difference in the community. Be highly organised and possess strong administration skills. Intermediate proficiency in MS Office or similar software and experience using databases. Be results and target driven. Be flexible and capable of managing competing demands in a fast‑paced and changing environment. Previous Workforce Australia or employment services experience is highly regarded for this position.
