Attractive salary package Opportunity to make a REAL difference to the community Strong support network – within the service and upper management Longreach Shire Council are looking for an experienced Centre Manager to lead their 130-place service As the only LDC in the region, it is the Centre Manager's responsibility to lead a quality Early Childhood Education and Care Service which meets the needs of children, families and the community. You will walk into the Centre with the support of an Assistant Manager and Educational Leader, as well as longstanding, reliable staff. The Council is committed to the smooth running of the service by providing required maintenance, project management and community engagement. Key responsibilities include: Leading the strategic direction, planning and decision-making of the Centre. Close collaboration with the Educational Leader to support the implementation of the Educational program. Ensure the service meets all regulatory requirements, implementing required policies and procedures while fostering staff understanding, adherence and involvement in the review process. Liaise with regulatory bodies and other stakeholders. Required skills & qualifications: Effective communicator who fosters a collaborative approach. Ability to prioritise and manage change effectively. Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the NQS and regulations. Previous managerial experience. Diploma of Children's Services. Current First Aid and CPR certification. Blue Card.
