Your Team The Financial Crime Operations team provides Financial Crime and Fraud Management services for Colonial First State, its clients, and customers. The team is responsible for prevention, detection, response, reporting, and escalation of all suspected and confirmed external financial crime incidents that impact Colonial First State's businesses, customers, and clients. Your Responsibilities End-to-end management of fraud risk activities, including prevention, detection, investigation, escalation, and reporting of suspected and confirmed fraud and scam incidents Analysing fraud prevention systems and review alerts generated for fraud and scams, ensuring timely investigation and appropriate action. Minimise fraud exposure and losses across wealth management portfolios through effective prevention, detection, and response strategies. Utilise data analysis and behavioural analytics to identify suspicious patterns and potential fraudulent activity. Ensure optimal effectiveness of fraud prevention systems, detection tools, and monitoring strategies, leveraging industry-standard technology; experience with behavioural analytics systems is highly advantageous. Your Capability and Experience Deep experience in fraud management within the financial services industry (strong domain expertise). Proven ability to manage end-to-end fraud incidents, including direction and remediation for significant and sensitive investigations. Strong experience in fraud prevention, detection, monitoring, case management, and related risk management systems. Deep knowledge of fraud and financial crime frameworks, processes, controls, prevention systems, and technology within a financial services environment. Hands-on experience with industry-standard fraud prevention technology applications.
